30 Patrol Cars Sent to Safeguard Transjakarta Bus Lanes

"The damaged separators will be removed, because they would be replaced with the lane dividers," said Head of Jakarta Bina Marga Department, Yusmada Faisal, Sunday (2/15).

Faisal said that many separators were damaged and missing. Ironically, it used by motorists to break into the lane, especially during dense traffic flow.

"Everyone can break through the separators due small sized," he exclaimed.

Through such replacement, he is optimistic that there will no longer offenders in future. This is because the lane dividers have a height of 80 cm and a width of 60 cm.

"We expected there will be no more offenders who break the Transjakarta bus lanes in future," stressed Faisal.

He revealed, the replacement will be carried out gradually due to its fund only reached Rp 30 billion.

"We take the data first before replacing separators. We only have Rp 30 billion for the project, including repair for Transjakarta bus lanes," he uttered.
